When faced with a financial crunch back in 2017, the Palmerdale Fire Department in Alabama reluctantly decided to halt third-party hose testing and perform the required testing in-house. At the time, testing was provided by Fail Safe Testing, a firefighter-founded company that was acquired by Industrial Inspection & Analysis (IIA) in 2020.
