Artifacts

This CMM Artifact is designed for use as a system performance check with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and includes a calibration certification (ISO 17025 Accredited Certification is also available). Validation artifacts provide evidence of software functionality and model-based capability for inspection software.

Artifact size approx. 5.25” x 3.00” x .75” – Artifact weight approx. 0.5 lbs – Material: Aluminum 6061-T6

Geometry Includes:

  • Circles / Cylinders
  • Slots
  • Widths
  • Spheres
  • Cones
  • Profiles

A digital CMM data output is provided along with the measured point cloud and 3D CAD model for this part. This ensures that the measurement routine is the same as the one used to certify the artifact. MBD (Model-Based Definition) Zeiss Calypso, Hexagon PC-DMIS, or Mitutoyo MCOSMOS native program file is available.
