IIA’s history in Canada began with the 2017 acquisition of Ontario-based Domson Engineering. With the 2024 addition of Tribologik / Predictive Maintenance Corporation and Kova Engineering, IIA expanded its range of services and geographic reach into the eastern provinces and across Canada. Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with clients through our active participation in the Canadian Crane Rental Association (CCRA) conference. Certifications & Professional Qualifications
We are a certified welding inspection organization with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CSA W178.1). Our highly skilled technicians hold certifications in various inspection methods from CSA, AWS, CGSB, SCCIP, and other standards organizations.
Our inspectors work closely with our team of Professional Engineers (P.Eng.), who are licensed to consult in Quebec and across the Atlantic Provinces, including Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Our engineering expertise spans mechanical, civil, and metallurgical disciplines.
Our fluid analysis and testing lab in Quebec is an ISO 17025:2017 accredited lab with MLA certified experts. Our services combined with our lift inspection capabilities make it easier for you to service your equipment more efficiently.
