TCLP
Safety first. We detect the presence of hazardous elements with Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) and our testing is fast, reliable and results are accurate.
Water Testing
IIA provides testing for storm water, drinking water, and waste water runoff/discharge for municipalities. For our corporate customers, we provide on-site, automated composite testers that can be scheduled to take intermittent samples, and for our residential customers, typically for pre-purchase home inspections, we provide mineral, bacterial, and heavy metal scans.

Temperature & Humidity Testing
Our Cincinnati Sub-Zero Temp Chamber can test items up to 250 pounds at temperatures ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to 85°C (185°F) and humidity levels ranging from 10 to 98%.
Military Paint & Ink Marking Specifications
We perform environmental testing that conforms to these U.S. Department of Defense Commercial Item Descriptions (CIDs) for assessing the appearance, adhesion and durability of marking (inks, paints, markers, etc.) used on military hardware, packaging and components:
- A-A-208: Ink, Marking, Stencil, Opaque (Porous and Non-Porous Surfaces) – Material specifications for the ink itself — composition, performance, drying, compatibility, etc.
- A-A-59383: Marking Media, Opaque (Porous and Non-Porous Surfaces) — Broader specification governing application and usage of marking systems and media — how markings are made, what kinds of media are acceptable, and general performance expectations.
Beyond the CID standards mentioned above, our ISO - accredited lab team is capable of researching and performing additional paint and ink testing methods to meet our customers’ needs.
