For decades, our Canadian Services team has been a leading provider to many of the nation’s largest plants, mills and manufacturing facilities, as well as the lift, construction, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, and steel fabrication industries — and more.

Our field technicians hold a variety of certifications for multiple applications, such as CGSB and ASNT for NDT, CWB and AWS for welding inspection, API for storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping, and AMPP for coating inspection. On-staff licensed professional engineers provide a wealth of industry knowledge and capabilities that set us apart from our competitors. As a full-service company, our team includes professional engineers representing a variety of disciplines, including structural/civil, mechanical, metallurgical, and welding.

IIA is a CSA W178.2 certified inspection agency with the Canadian Welding Bureau and a Transport Canada approved NDT Aircraft Maintenance Organization.

Laboratory Testing & Analysis

Since 1984, our St-Laurent, Quebec, laboratory has been a leading provider of fluid testing and lubricant analysis. The services we provide in our Canada lab help to ensure that the oil, fuel, coolant and grease used to power industrial equipment meets regulatory and safety standards. Customers across industries rely on our expert testing and analyses as a tool to monitor the condition of industrial, mining and transport equipment and proactively identify potential hazards.


Our ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 accredited lab is managed by professional, Ph.D.-level chemists. Our highly qualified lab technicians scrupulously apply the most recent ASTM fuel, oil, coolant, and grease testing methods. Membership on the ASTM D02 Committee on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants keeps our Canada lab on the leading edge of new standards and procedures.
