Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is used to detect surface and near-to-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic parts and weldments.
Our test equipment includes:
- Portable AC or DC magnetic yokes
- Permanent magnets
- Portable coil
- Portable power pack for use with prods, head shots or coil wraps
We work with all test mediums including:
- Dry powder
- Wet fluorescent particles
- Wet visible particles
MPI is one of the most common NDT methods used in our industry.
