Dielectric Testing

Discover the Power of Non-Destructive Dielectric Testing

Dielectric Testing (DT) is a non-destructive method of introducing an electrical current into an insulated component to determine its ability to protect against electrical current. IIA uses DT in the field to determine if insulated booms and controls on utility equipment, such as bucket trucks and digger derricks, are safe to operate in high-risk electrical areas.

IIA's portable high-voltage testing equipment uses direct current (DC) to check your equipment for any unsafe current leakage.
