IIA Announces New Leadership

September 3, 2019 – Atlanta, GA – Industrial Inspection & Analysis is thrilled to announce that Chris Niebuhr has joined Industrial Inspection & Analysis (IIA) as new leadership of Chief Executive Officer effective September 3, 2019.

Chris joins IIA following a terrific run as President of Thompson Industrial Services. Under Chris’s new leadership Thompson Industrial Services grew by nearly 4x and greatly improved profitability. Chris is a great fit for IIA in that he comes from the industrial services world, has worked extensively with customers very similar to IIA’s customer base, has run a business with many offices throughout the country, and has proven he can dramatically grow businesses similar in size to IIA through both organic growth and through successful acquisitions. Chris also has “story- worthy customer service” in his DNA and will make sure customer focus remains front and center at IIA.

We are in a great industry with lots of favorable trends, both short-term and long-term across the sectors we serve. Under Chris’s leadership we plan to put even more emphasis on story-worthy customer service, organic growth, continue making acquisitions, and tie together capabilities across our businesses to deliver a stronger offering to our customers. There is a lot of work ahead and Chris will bring a great deal of energy and leadership to get the job done. Chris will be based out of the Atlanta, GA office and will travel extensively to be in front of customers and the IIA workforce, just as he has been doing for years in his previous roles.
