Industrial Inspection & Analysis Acquires SLTL, Inc.
December 8, 2020 – ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc.® (“IIA”) – a leader in providing inspection, testing, and analytical services – has acquired St. Louis Testing Laboratories, Inc. (“SLTL”).
Founded in 1929 and based in St. Louis, MO, SLTL is a leading commercial testing laboratory that performs testing and inspection services for industrial clients via nondestructive testing, mechanical testing, chemical analysis, metallurgical analysis, and environmental analysis.
“SLTL will expand IIA’s capabilities into destructive testing through the company’s capabilities in mechanical, chemical, and metallurgical testing while providing deep expertise in lab- and field-based NDT capabilities as well” explains Chris Niebuhr, CEO of IIA. “The acquisition will also plant an IIA flag in the center of the country, an important geography for IIA as we continue to grow our nationwide presence.
