IIA’s Lift Services team in California, is accredited by OSHA’s Office of Maritime Enforcement to perform maritime certification functions of vessel cargo gear and shore-based material-handling devices specifically used in maritime operations, such as cranes and derricks on barges, vessels, or floating drydocks involved in transferring materials or equipment to or from a vessel or drydock.
Governed by 29 CFR Part 1919, this accreditation ensures that IIA can provide reliable and compliant inspections and certifications for maritime equipment, which is crucial for maintaining safety standards in the industry.
