IIA Executive Leaders
Chris Niebuhr
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to IIA, Chris served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Thompson Industrial Services. Chris also brings Sales and Engineering experience to IIA, as he served as a Technical Sales Representative and held positions within the Engineering Group at Nalco Chemical Company. Chris earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and his MBA from The Citadel.
Doug Vail
Chief Revenue Officer
Prior to IIA, Doug was the Executive Vice President of Sales at The Erosion Company. Doug also brings industrial sales experience from his time at GrayWolf Industrial, Superheat, Thompson Industrial Services and AquilexSRO. Doug earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
Kevin Fazzari
Chief Financial Officer
Kevin Fazzari joined IIA in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as Global Corporate Controller for a leading provider of work access services and products to the global industrial, commercial and infrastructure markets. His background also includes various leadership positions in financial planning and accounting in the power and telecommunication industries. Kevin earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and MS degree in Finance from Georgia State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jason Schrage
Chief Operating Officer
Jason joined IIA in 2020 and brings proven leadership skills from more than 25 years in the energy industry with General Electric (GE) and Industrial Service Solutions.. Jason’s expertise includes operations management, process development, field services and ISO 9000 / Quality Programs. Jason earned a BS in Facilities & Plant Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.

Nick Szkotak
Vice President, Operations
Nick Szkotak joined the IIA team in 2020, and currently serves as General Manager of Lab Services. In this role, Nick oversees testing, inspection & analysis activities for more than 4,000 customers across 30 industries every year. Prior to joining IIA, Nick worked in the boiler, power, and construction industries. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and is an AWS Certified Weld Inspector.
Jeffrey Meiners
Vice President, Operations
Jeffrey joined IIA in 2021 as General Manager – Facility Services and was promoted to Vice President in 2025. In his current role, he oversees non-destructive field inspections across North America. Jeffrey’s background includes extensive experience in engineering, operations and sales, as well as senior-level leadership roles in industries ranging from pump manufacturing to hydropower and beverage packaging. A licensed Professional Engineer, Jeff holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Portland State University.
Sam Yank
Vice President, Sales
Sam joined IIA in 2018, bringing extensive sales experience, as well as hands-on experience as a certified inspector of lift equipment. He was promoted to Director of Sales in 2020 and to Vice President – Sales in 2025. In his current role, Sam is responsible for formulating, implementing and evaluating high-level sales strategies for IIA operations, including industrial and lift equipment inspections, as well as laboratory services.
Alexis Tew
Human Resources Manager
Alexis Tew started working at IIA in 2017 in the Human Resources Department as the HR Coordinator and has grown with the organization. She was promoted to Human Resources Manager in June of 2019. She brings a breadth of HR knowledge and expertise to IIA’s Human Resources department. Alexis strives to uphold the values and principles of the IIA organization and continues to make this a great place to work.
Vicki Douglass
Director of Marketing
Vicki Douglass joined IIA as Director of Marketing in 2021, bringing more than 25 years of experience to the role. Using a data-driven approach, Vicki leverages marketing communications and streamlines CRM’s and marketing operations to support business goals and connect customers to inspection solutions offered by IIA and its 17 subsidiaries. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Briar Cliff University.
Lee Fletcher
Director of Quality
Lee Fletcher started with IIA in 2004 working in Metrology Services as the lab supervisor and has grown with the organization and lead the development of the organization’s Quality Program. Lee worked his way up to Quality Manager in Metrology and is currently the Director of Quality at IIA. He works closely with customers in highly regulated industries such as, Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Power Generation, and Automotive. He implemented multiple ISO9001 and ISO 17025 Certified quality systems and has been certified as a CMI, CQT, CQA, and CQE through ASQ.
EUGENE “ELI” MOYE
Safety Manager
As a former Safety Officer in the U.S. Marines, Eli brought a wealth of experience when he joined IIA as Safety Manager in 2022. His 23-year military career also includes the role of Motor Transport Operations Manager, where he gained extensive experience in fleet management and trained Marines for combat. In his current role, Eli works with employees across North America to mitigate job hazards, raise awareness of safety, and develop new strategies to support IIA’s mission of Making the World Safer.
